Hazy red beer, quickly diminishing white head. Nose is fruity, some woody notes, mild caramel. Flavor is red fruits, dryness, woody caramel and a nice smack of balsamic vinegar. And by nice I mean not that nice. Lingering dryness, fruit and vinegar.

375 ml bottle brewed in 2011 and on sale at Supermarket Liquors for $9.99. Ruby red appearance with a small white head diminishing to a bubbly ring of foam. The aroma is sour, dark fruits, vanilla, toasted oak and light grape skins. Similar flavor, mildly sour, mild sweet fruitiness and lightly vinous with a hint of tannin. Medium body with soft carbonation and a smooth, creamy feel. Tastes a little old, but still pretty good overall.
