COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fermented and maturated in oak vats. No adding yeast. Spontaneous fermentation because of adding freshly pressed Barbera grapes juice that contains the skins, directly from a viticulturist near Alba. Brewed once a year at vintage time obviously. Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles.

courtesy of the Erzbierschofs - gusher ... ruby-brown beer, poor head retention; black cherries, grape and alcohol notes; some sweetness, medium-bodied, dry and fairly sourish, very tasty; long sourish aftertaste of grape and cherries, prunes - great !

The sour pours perfect crimson amber with a bubbly pink off white head that is like crystal diamond bubbles as it swirls around the glass - HOW’S THAT FOR SPONTANEOUS FERMENTATION? The aroma is sour, a bit band-aid, and fresh berries blended splendidly. The flavor is more sour than tart with delicious grapes, a light amount of band-aid that works well with the sour and oak notes.

Color is clear amber, with aromas of light malt and citrus. Flavors are sour grapes, some raspberry, making for a tart, lambic-like beer. Very sad to see the bottom of the bottle. Can’t wait to have it again.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2012 On tap at Borefts 2011. Unique, a plum lambic. Deep ruby colour and very pleasant aroma of the deep darkfruits. Medium mouthfeel, loads of dark fruit (especially the prune and grape) and a nice lingering acidic aftertaste.

Bottle at SMÖF 2012. Nice deep red beer with a small head. Sourish, fruity, leather, raspberries aroma with some cherry notes. Sourish raspberries, fruity, rubber, leather and grassy flavour. Really a nice beer :-)

Bottle 37,5 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a reddish amber with a slight haze and an off-white head. A little barnyard in the nose, very dry with some fruit. Surprisingly light-bodied, light and refreshing again with Brett and fruit. Dry finish. Extremely delicious - like a good Fruit Lambic really. 030610
