Fermented and maturated in oak vats. No adding yeast. Spontaneous fermentation because of adding freshly pressed Barbera grapes juice that contains the skins, directly from a viticulturist near Alba. Brewed once a year at vintage time obviously. Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles.

375ml bottle from Systembolaget, vintage 2014. Almost clear, dark amber, fizzy head that disappears in 3 seconds. Tart aroma, oak, red grapes and citrus. Low carbonated, dry and light mouthfeel. The taste is complex, oak, tart cherries, currants, raspberries, farmyard funk. Highly drikable.

Bottled (backlog). Pretty much red colour with a small head. Aroma is sour wood, red berries, some yeast and mild toffeeish notes to it. Flavour is very similar, ending in a rather big mouthdrying way. Tasty and quite complex.
