Pours hazy brown into a snifter. Head quickly dissipates to hug rim. Ripe plum and oak aromas. Thin and soft with sour plum and berries front to back and into the lasting dusty oak finish.

375ml bottle, 2011. Pours a hazy orange with a white head. Smells of sultanas and plum. Taste is sultana, plum, sour, sweet. Finishes nicely sour.

Draft. A red beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of cherries, brettanomyces, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of cherries, wood, brettanomyces, and fruits, leading to a tart finish.

Draught @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Rated on 28.2.2013.
Pours an orange colour with a large foamy head. Aroma is something quite unique and very promising; intense raspberries, gooseberry bush, grass, citrus and caramel. Flavour is sour and juicy sweet with berries, citrus, nettles and some sweetness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a sour, berryish, herbal finish. Good drinkability and the sourness wasn’t too aggressive.

Draft pour at Chez Moeder Lambic. It has a deep copper body with a slight haze and supporting a nice tan head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet candy cherry to prune with some sour and slight vinegar notes around the edges. The taste begins with a brief fruity prune note that moves into vinegar and then increasing levels of tartness. Pretty crisp and not really over tart, which is good for me.

Aroma, come poi anche il gusto molto delicato dolcino e acido che si sposano alla perfezione! Rossa rubino, poca pochissima schiuma, poco persistente! Dal retrugusto estremamente delicato e duraturo!

Nose is prunes, figs and cherry. Light Oaked malt character
Taste is slightly acetic. Cherries and plums. Has this grape skin texture and very ripe cherries without the tartness. Lots of residual sugar

Extremely drinkable and well-made sour. Aroma is nuanced and fruity. The taste is sour but not too acidic. Aftertaste is long and enjoyable. Well done.

2011 vintage. Pours orange, no head. Smells of yeast, fruit, and wood. Tart, dry flavors. Sweet and sour, lots of plum flavor, other fruits (citrus, apricots, others), lemon peel, oak notes throughout.
