COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"L’utilizzo, unico nel suo genere, di susine damaschine rende questa straordinaria birra ricchissima di calde e sensuali note fruttate che sanno contrastare le nette, seppur mai troppo aggressive, punte di acidulo e di citrico. Sorprende, nel palato, un equilibrio notevole, inusuale per birre con un PH così basso, equilibrio assicurato da una notevole pienezza e da un fruttato così imponente da farsi ricordare a lungo." - Lorenzo Dabove in arte Kuaska

Draught @ TCBW 2015 Pours reddish orange with a small head. Aroma of sourish berries, cherries, yeast, caramel, toffee and wood. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly sour with some notes of berries, caramel, toffee and syrup. Finish is sweetish, malty and caramely with slight sourness and tart berries. Quite well balanced and tasty sour juice.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Lovely nose, plums, wood, a bit lactic and acetic, cream, cherry, caramel. Orange-amber, cloudy, with lace. Sweet plum with tart acidic barrel aged beer. Wood, yogurt, leather. Very complex. Highly drinkable. Low carbonation, oily, soft, great. Almost worth the price.

37.5cl bottle, VIntage 2011. Color is hazy orange with almost no head. THe aroma is so powerful and enjoyable, it smalls like apricots or peaches. The taste is nearly perfect, no flavor is overwelming, it is quite balanced fruity and little sour (as it should). Really great sour beer.

Draft pour at the pine box sour fest. I love it when I order a beer, and I get laughed at for butchering the pronunciation. Im not fluent in Italian beer names. Yet! Pours a glowing orange color with a quick fizz head. Aroma is sweet candy strawberry. Flavor is wonderfully sour up front with a sweet strawberry body and finish. So damn tasty. Love these beers.

Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured a hazy ruby amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light to moderate sour fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sour & sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet & sour fruit finish of moderate duration. This is an interesting beer.

375 ml bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden/amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have big floral character, fruit, plums, citrus, herbal, wood, I kept thinking air freshener, not very tart, much less sour, strange beer, I wouldn’t buy this, but would have another taste if it was available.

375 ml bottle to taster (2013 vintage; shared by DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a cloudy caramel orange with razor-thin eggshell lacing. Smells floral and mildly oaky with a semi-sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced, and a little watery. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Solid beer.

375ml bottle, from Dutch’s. 2013 vintage. Mostly hazy red amber orange color. Ring of off-white head. Really cool fruity nose... Pear, cranberry, cherry, floral aromas (rose petal). Interesting taste, bit of cleaner in there, mild sour, moderate sweet, touch minty and herbal. Light citrus. Mild bitterness. Strange at first, but it grows on me quite a bit. Definitely tastes like there’s some floral adjuncts in here, and it works well. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, light carbonation, mild slick finish. Overall, a tasty, interesting complex floral (mildly sour) sour ale. Grows on me more and more as I go.

Plum and sour aroma. Taste is lactic sour and plum with woody oakyness as well. Not sweet. Fruit sugars fermented out. Sour is maybe 3 or 4 of 10. Really complex and nice beer, just would like more body and sour to this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
