Keg at Brewdog Brum. Amber (I love Bish). Blimey, this is a strange one. Has definite rouge fruit notes, but coupled with genuine tree bark flavouring, which is dry, earthy and has hints of choc. Is it sour? Kind of. There is rosehip. I have never eaten a rosehip. On the whole: up.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fiery deep amber color. Sour cherries and lemon in the nose with oak and wood. The mouth is disappointingly not dry and sour as expected. Some what malty a bit unbalanced though it shows character - wood, cherries and slightly tart. This beer has so much potential and never gets anywhere near it could go and ultimately is a muddled sour beer.

(Draught at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen, 13 July 2013) Reddish amber colour with brief head. Fruity nose with notes of red fruit, citrus and cranberries. Fruity, slightly tart taste with red berries, cranberries, red-currant and a gentle citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing with lots of sour fruit. Very nice.

Hazy amber chestnut, lacing cream head sour, cider vinegar (slightly acetic nose). Full bodied, fine carbonation, high sweetness, rodenbach grand cru territory, bretty grassy dryness in finish. Nice

Seriously great sour ale. The sourness lasts forever bur never becomes too much. The grape taste stays but is not too grapy. One of the better sour beers i have has for a while.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Orange-brown pour with a white head. The aroma is full of tart cherries, light vinegar and toffee. The flavor is similar with the cherry notes complimenting the toffee. There is also a light amount of alcohol present. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Big suprise. Best Italian sour ale. Good malty taste with sour fruits. Nice pallat. Bit overpriced
