pours hazy amber with a 2 finger pillowy head, Aroma: light barnyard, brett, pear, hay, grassy, dusty, fig, sweetness, green apples, manure, but all aromas are very subtle. quite fizzy, yeast, baking yeast, brett, very dry, tart, rotten apples, barnyard, manure, pear, some acidity, a bit watery, some warmth from the alcohol, fruity sweetness, light malty, would be good as a substitute for a sparkling wine. aqll in all very subtle and quite balanced

Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark hazy ruddy with a fizzy beige head. Aroma is pleasantly vinous and bretty. Med body. Flavor is vinous, red berry earth and arguably a little bretty or at leas sour. Nice beer.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours cloudy copper with an attractive beige head and a sour fruity aroma. There is a complex sour flavor that is dominated by red currant and there is a also some unspecified berry flavor, yeast (brett?) and caramel malt. Very tasty.

Sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2011. Pours a hazy and reddish brown beer with a weak offwhite head. The aroma is malt, tart and fruit. The flavor follows the nose with additional redwine. The palate is sweetness. Overall a good beer.

Red with lasting white low head.
Very very fruity - mostly red fruits. Tart, not sour. Fantasitc smooth and fresh. low on carbonation, but the tartness makes up for it.
Love the tart red fruit juice.
