Oak amber ale. Fermented and maturated only in oak vats. The name "Madamin" is a piedmontese word meaning "young lady". Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles. ---
Oak Amber Ale. 5,7%

330 mL bottle, bottled in 2011, bought recently from the bargain shelf at Coaltrain. Dark, cloudy reddish brown, with a big, foamy, tan head. Rich caramel, green apples, light lime, and some brown bread. Semi-sweet and malty, with a sharp, tart bite. Medium body, creamy, lightly acidic, and silky. Quite a nice sour brown, with a slightly dry flavor and luxurious mouthfeel. Doesn’t look like the store aging didn’t hurt too bad.

On tap at TCBW 2016. Hazy amber, dark orange colour. Almost no head. Slight round of froth on top. Berries, vinegar, slight horseblanket in the aroma. Berries at first. Acidicy and vinegar in the middle. Hints of berties again in the end. Do not feel oakiness.

TCBW. Hazy reddish brown with no head. Sour with blackcurrant and red berries. Not too complex mouth of sour flavors. Ok but not stunning.

Tap @ The Local Taphouse, Sydney. Mahogany coloured. Oak, cherry and malt dominate the aroma. The oak and caramel malt are also significant flavours, freshened up with cherry and sour fruit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark cherry red. Halo of dense, cream coloured head. Nose has tangy black cherry. Sweet plum. Plum stone. Notes of vanilla pod and oak. Taste is light sour. Quite drying. Tart, lightly acidic palate. Finishes tart, dry and woody.
