Schon ok.. /8/8/7//7

375 ml bottle. From Rome, Italy. Courtesy of Brandman.
Red colour with small off-white head. Red berries and sourness in aroma. Lots of sourness and red berries with some maltiness in flavour. Thin. I like Lambic style sourness but this is somewhat thin and one dimensional. Not my favourite.

Bottle from Star Grocery. Pours cloudy amber with a disappearing beige head and a fruity and oaky aroma. There is a very mellow slightly sour complex flavor with lots of oak and a carbonated finish. Pairs well with salami.

Bottle at Blue Monk - big thanks to Mike! Nose is blueberry, wood, a little cheesy funk & honey. Flavor is wood and dry blueberry/melon fruitiness. strong tannin presence and nice sourness. A bit too much bitterness.
