3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample from 0.375 L bottle. Pours a hazy brownish amber, under two fingers of dense yellow-blond head. Tart and funky fruit aroma. Some fine oak tones and faint caramel/toffee. Light body, fresh and sparkling in the mouth. Fresh and tart fruit flavors, citrus zest and lemons. Noticable barrel notes. Restrained caramelly malts. Dry and fresh fruity tart finish. Nice!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of oak with light tart cherries note with a light acidic edge and some sour notes. Taste is a well balanced mix between some oak with good notes of sour cherries with light acidic notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Well brewed with nice complexity while retaining a good drinkability level.

Tap at Maxs. Unfiltered amber-brown. Glass lacing off-white head. Impressive soured oak aroma. Solid Italo-Flemish sour. A touch different in feel, but very sour, quite respectable. Lactic, intense vinegar. Vinous finish. Wow.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2013 Thanks Cecile for letting me try this one! Anyway, poured a dark red body with an off white head. Creamy full aroma, berry jam. Fresh sourish berry-like taste, creamy, slightly vinuous yet without some huge notes of that, the tannins I guess. Surprisingly good stuff, I’d definitely have it again (and again... and again)...
