Red grape aroma pervades here- were they trying to make a wine? The oak is light overall with some sourness and slight leather. Appearance is very dark amber/red with bone head. Flavor matches the nose, but with some herbal presence; the finish is sour and vinous overall. Palate is creamy with some prickly bubbles. Solid, not anything too outstanding.

Great approachable wee sour beer. Ruby red poor. Nice sour taste up front but a nice malt back bone helps balance and make the beer just a little more interesting. Really good

Bottle. Pours hazy ruby coppery with minimal off-white head. Nose is very tart and lactic, with notes of earthy oak, cherry, and more heavy funk than your mother-in-laws crotch. Tastes tart; lactic, with notes if funky yeast, fruit, and finishing tartness. This one is great.

Draft. Brown pour with tan head. Light tart fruit and some tart oak aromas. Some light tart fruit start, finishes very malt sweet and brune like.

Skinnyviking (6746) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 9, 2014
Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Low fluffy lasting white head. Hazy dark brown body. Dried fruit vinegar grapefruit aroma. Smooth berries flavor with an acidic note but it is not really sour. Low carbonation. Long dusty finish.

maneliquor (2995) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 9, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor shared with Anthony. Pours murky amber brown with no head. Nose is full of oak and tangy red berries with loads of wet wood coming through. Taste is very tangy and vanilla forward with a nice kick of sourness. Actually quite sesionable in regards to a sour. Comes across oily and oaky with plenty of earthiness and raisin sweetness throughout. Balanced well. A touch resinous. Nice stuff

Divina!

ARMed (597) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2014
Bottled in 2011. Excellent head and lacing immediately after being poured. Aroma has cherries, red grapes, and other vineous flavors hidden. I really don’t taste the oak though. The beer does have a nice farmhouse sour beer quality. Overall a beer with body, taste, spirit and high quality finish.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy reddish brown with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma and flavour are tartness, red berries, oak, yeast, and caramel - with a tart finish.
