Bottle 375ml.

Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20100603]

Bevuta a Pasturana (dal teku di Marco); č una imperial stout che versa schiuma beige, profumo di liquirizia e note di caffč, con un luppolo "imperioso" che dą un amaro fortissimo. Buona

In short: A standard roasted stout with chocolate and coffee notes. Good basic brew.
How: Bottle 375ml. Shared by/with the owner of Domus Birrae (Rome Italy) on location
The look: Black body topped by a small tan head
In long: Typical one-size-fits-all imperial stout nose with a bit of everything. Taste follows up on the nose with medium roastiness, black chocolate notes, coffee notes, some green grass, mild resinous bitterness, a light citric note. Pretty standard stuff. Could use a little more body. All in all a pretty good beer. For a North-American like me this is just another good (but not very good) imperial stout. But I enjoyed it since I was a tourist in Rome and half-decent imperial stouts are not common over there. If you too want to be a Rome tourist, it’s very simple, just follow any road.
