3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chimpgibbon (31) - SCOTLAND - MAY 1, 2013
Bit of a disappointment. Big hazy dark amber average head and lacing. Clearly hoppy on the nose but way too malty on the buds. Doesn’t hide its alcohol well enough for me, and there’s just no lightness to it, no refreshing glow.

Very memorable beer. A little on the malty side, but exceedingly well balanced with good hop notes. One of the best beers I’ve had in a long time. Well worth hunting out.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 RichardW (1154) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2013
keg at The Font, Manchester. A subtle hop note leading to a biggish caramel flavour. Doesn’t have the expected punch, more a slow building warmth that creeps up slowly. A clean sparkling gold beer that finishes dry and hangs around on the tongue for a long time. Really good.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 badmansam (53) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2013
Keg @ Earl of Essex 2013/3/26 Initially a horrible musty aroma until swillable, then a nice Crystal malty sweet aroma not dissimilar to US style IPAs but with massive alcohol notes. Very alcoholic taste, some hops, burnt rubber. Astringent. Not pleasant. Glad they serve 1/3 pints here.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jamestulloch (476) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Aroma: Green, leafy hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, grass, caramel and pine.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thin white head that gradually fades. Lively carbonation. Good lacing.
Taste: Very hoppy - mouth puckeringly bitter. Fruity and slightly peppery with sweet toffee/candy notes.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Nice carbonation fizz.
Overall: A heavily hopped, modern style IPA with lovely hints of candy sweetness.

Keg at The Anderson. Delicious, wheat body and taste... seem to have lost my notes on this one...oh, and it was my 16th taster of the night!

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; pour hazy amber small white head, pineapple an grapefruit aroma, taste of intense hop with a good bitter end.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pudding (118) - Birmingham, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2012
33cl bottle Cotteridge Wines, B30. Poured crystal clear despite being bottle-conditioned and enduring a 30 minute cycle ride. Not as assertively hopped as Kernel brewery IPA’s. Thick mouthfeel. I think most people would like this beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tkrjukoff (3360) - SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2012

Served into a half pint glass on tap at Tap East (Jan ’12).
Hazy blond to amber in colour.
Flowery hoppy aroma and taste, citrus flavours, maybe a hint of toffee/candy in the finish.
Mouthfeel was pleasant, very refreshing with a bitter sweet aftertaste.
a good beer which I will definately re-visit given the chance!
