COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle conditioned; Regular.
Henley has long been known for the best pint of Ordinary. This 3.4% session ale is no exception. We use Maris Otter as a base malt with a special blend of roasted malts to give this bitter a complex malt profile.
Generous additions of 3 English hop varieties give this ale exceptional hop character.
Tasting notes: The amber coloured ale has a good balance of juicy malt and hop character on the nose. The flavour finishes with a balance of bitterness from roasted barley, leading to a long clean bitterness of English hops. Finishes dry.
Suggested food pairing: Excellent beer paired with roasted or grilled meats - chicken, pork or beef. Will also pair well with grilled vegetables.

Keg at Windsor castle hotel in Windsor, 10th October 2012. Pours amber, served too cold for my taste, the beer is nice and easy drinking, kind of caramel and undertones of strawberry on the flavour, not bad for the pathetic ABV

33cl bottle courtesy of my Dad. Pours a crystal clear amber with a smallish off-white head. Aroma is mildly English hoppy, some fruit and mild spice. Tastes quite thin but flavourful. More dark fruit in the palate with some crisp hopping. Clean malt shows up as well. Pleasingly sharp bitter finish. Decent for style but lacking overall.

Pours hazy amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has grass, caramel, light apricot. Medium carbonation, light but lovely dry mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, bitter, grassy, pine, light sweet caramel. Super nice dry finish. Very good for the ABV.
