Bottle @ Nieuwjaarsborrel 2014, courtesy of dEnk. Pours a clear golden beer without any head. Aroma of sour grapes, lambic funk, Brett touches. Flavor is very soft sour, well balanced and not very overwhelming. Incredibly easy to drink, The sourness really evolves into a subtle sweetness after swallowing. Medium short, light sour aftertaste. Very well made sour. Very good!

750ml bottle from the brewery shop, my 4000th rating. A bright pale amber pour with a white head that quickly drops from a finger to a thin coating; the aroma is a mix of fresh grapes and slightly musty fermenting wine; and the taste matches with crisp grapes and some very tart gooseberries. This finish is dry and disappointingly thin, but apart from that itís great to find an English brewery experimenting with beers such as this.

Pale gold color with a sticky white head. White wine, moldy hay and funk in the nose. Sweet tart flavors with grape, berry, acid, some oak, and a long tingly sour finish. I do not like sour beers and this is one of those.
