Keg at Brewdog Camden as ’Lovibonds Pinot Noir Barrel Sour Grapes’. Orange, still, pretty clear, small foamy off-white head. Aroma is vinegary, honey and lemon, some wine. Body is medium to light, spritzy carbonation, slightly foamy, tooth-coating and enamel-stripping. Taste is rounded sour fruits, tart lemon, softly woody, dates, red grape finish. Nice flavour, pity about the palate on these sour beers. Was licking my teeth for a few hours after this one.

Bottle from Bottle Shop Bermondsey. Nose is lemon, light funk, lemon peel, tart, urine, lightly sweet, light grain, soda. Taste is grapefruit and lemon rind tangy bitter citrous fruit, light, soft on the palate beer, with moderate tartness and some lovely soft red wine vinous notes, little cheese rind. Nice English lambic which whilst only moderately tart and lightly funky, has a lovely balance of flavours and a unique red wine vinous softness.

Aged bottle thanks to my very good friend - 1970s Boy - Cheers mate! Aroma is woodruff; Sauvignon Blanc; lemon tart; brett and barnwood. Taste is like sherbot bon-bons; lactose; good drinkability. Dry but well-balanced. Excellent.
