Bottle at Craft Beer Clerkenwell big thanks to whoever shared this my notes fail, 09/03/13. Lightly hazed pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose is woody, sour fruits, soured white grapes, light spice, touch of funk. Taste comprises lemon, wood, spice, soured grapes, white wine thats lingered a day or two too long in the fridge. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry in the finish. Impressive stuff - will seek this out again!

75cl bottle at CBC Clerkenwell, London. Thanks mate. It pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a medium white soapy head. Aroma is good funk straught away from the beginning. Ripen apples and barn yard. Reminds of a cider in a sense. Taste is tart and lightly sweetish. Good fruitiness and acidity. Nice balance. Didn’t pick up the barrel aging that much but it was still a classy and tasty brew.

Bottle shared at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white foam head. Fairly funky aroma, dank dough, ripe lemon. Light to medium sweet flavor, robust tangy lemon and other fruits, good funk. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Very clean finish, light bitterness, white grapes, some mellow lemons, faint sweaty funk. Very nice beer, highly drinkable stuff.

Keg at Hanging Bat. Slight haze. Yellow golden colour, small white head. Big lemon, aloe Vera, soft wood nose. Slight lager malt twang to the front, then lots of layers of sour complexity. Really potent sherbety tart finish. Very nice indeed.

Keg at the brewery, 3rd November 2012. Light straw colour, sour aroma, flavour is tart gooseberry hits the back of your tongue with its sourness, could be a cider. Could not drink a pint of this, although it was nice to try.

Keg at IndyManBeerCo, 2012. I’ve been looking forward to trying this for some time and it did not disappoint. It pours hazy golden-amber, with a medium off-white head. The nose is fresh lemon, tart white grape, chamomile, Aloe Vera, citric notes and wood. The taste is sour wheat, lemon, red grapefruit, white grape, Aloe Vera, pithy, vinous, light acidity and wood, with a dry, lightly tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A soft and delicate sour ale. Nice level of complexity. Delicious!
