UPDATED: DEC 20, 2013 Bottle 0.5l. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma is grainy, corn, sweet. Taste is medium sweet, low bitterness, grains, corn. I don’t get the Weihnachten here. Tastes like an ordinary Helles without much flavour or distinction. Disappointing.

Bottle at the brewery in Buttenheim dated February 2014. Cigarette ash, fruit cup, apple juice, potato starch, metal flakes. Goopy and syrupy up front, medium-full body, then falling apart in the finish. Sour malt, sour fruit cocktail. Super sweet juice candy. Downright awful, spit worthy.

Pours a yellow-orange hue with a small white head. The aroma is sweet honey and malts. A nice crisp flavor; spicy hops, oranges, honey, sweet dry malts. Enjoyable.

Test vom 25.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 3,6,6,7,11,6 - 6,10

Bottle 500ml.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100320]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Rather fruity nose. Medium body, sweet fruits and bonbon notes with a pleasant flowery accent also. Discreet bitterness. Nice one. 200310

bottle from pivnizub - thank you! Clear golden colour, medium-sized head. Malty and sweet with hints of honey and tiny hints of spices. Hoppy and slightly lemony bitter finish.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy, slightly yellow foamy head. Moderately sweet malty, slightly toasty aroma with notes of honey and shy herbal hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, nedium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Initially malty with honey, accompanied by herbal notes; medium-dry, malty and slightly bitter and herbal hoppy finish. Not bad, but almost too sweet for Buttenheim standards.

Deep golden coloured; mid-sized stable white head; delicate honeyish - hoppy nose with a tinge of toasted malt; light to medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour, becoming drier and more hoppy towards the end. A well crafted, well crafted brew..........
