Great beer. I’m fond of dunkels and this is a good one. Definately worth a taste. Good flavor, texture, creamy rich and dark roasted coffee, chocolate and malt run through. It’s fantastic, try it.

500 ml bottle, from Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.5%. Fairly dark brown colour, big to moderate off-white to beige head. Moderate aroma of münchener malts and fresh bread, hints of caramel and fruits/berries. The flavour has some notes of dark malts and caramel, hints of fruit and chocolate, with lightly roasted and moderately hoppy notes in the finish. Nice to drink.

On tap at Löwenbräukeller, München 14.07.2009. Dark brown colour. Tastes of burnt sugar and roasted malt and is a bit on the sweet side.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate to liht light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, bread. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100130]

Dark reddish brown colour with small tan head. Roasted malt, caramel and some strange potatoe aroma. Slightly sugary sweet roasted malty flavour with caramel and hints of hops. Thin and watery.

Interesting, defenitely better than the Pils one. I like the features and cloudiness of the beverage and the aroma too.

0.5 l bottle from Beerangel. Dark reddish brown. Bready aroma with a weird beetroot/potato note . Bready slightly caramelly flavor with some starchy notes. BB Feb 2010 but tastes very weird and potato like.
