Served ice cold on tap, had to let it warm up a touch before i could taste anything at all. Pretty simple stuff, light caramelly, with a kinda short finish, sweetish, with minimal bitterness. Uncomplex and pretty easy to drink.

Keg
Deep amber color; light hop aroma; light malt in the taste, and sweet caramel. Not bad, but missing a bite.

Bottle
Deep amber color. Quite nice malt and caramel aroma. Simple taste, with a very strong caramel character, sweet in the front and bitter later, but somehow metallic.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

worldbeertaste (1550) - AUSTRIA - SEP 15, 2013
Deep ruby brown with a thin, beige, creamy, lacy, lasting head. Smells of deep malt, caramel, toasted malt, roast and bread. Medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of sweet malt but like brown sugar was added to it. Caramel in the middle and a bitter roast on the finish that balances it out a bit. Mostly sweet caramel sugar through. Tastes processed to me.

Powertrip (998) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 20, 2011
Single bottle purchased at the Alpinhotel Kron Prinz in Bertchesgaden, Germany on 11/20/2011. Colour: Dark brown with high foamy but thin yellow head. Nose: Malt smells roasted but to a sour degree. Yeast and coca-cola together in harmony...well together anyway. Corn appears strong after much swirling. Taste: Light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium sour. There is a some toasty wood that shows early but then it fades into strong corn profile. Simply not a great dunkel...to me anyway.

Draft at Lowenbrau, Berlin. Pours dark brown with an off white head. Aroma is slightly fruity and malt. Flavour of fruit, light roasted and soap. Low carbonation and light bodied.

A round brew. Some citric aroma with notes of pear. Mild flavour. Caramel in finish and an aftertaste of burned sugar.

Test vom 4.11.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,6,8,6,8,7 - 6,80

Bov (9050) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 29, 2009
from beerangel.de - clear and translucide ruby-brown colour with a solid beige foam; gently toasted caramelish nose; slightly earthy; sweet and medium-bodied, moderate carbonation and low bitterness; aftertaste of butterscotch - deeply boring
