UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 Bottle. It pours a hazy, orange-golden body under an off-white head. Banana and cloves dominates the aroma, with some citrus and pale malts. Sweet, malty, wheaty flavor with a good dash of banana. Not as spiced as I would like it. Dry body, medium to full body. Nice bitterness in the finish, with fruityness. A rather nice and pleasant hefe-weizen. 090619

Cloudy orange color with a short-lasting head. A bit of banana in the aroma, and something else which is fresh-sweet, but I can?t quite decide what it is. Taste is rather one-dimensional, standard for a Hefeweizen: a bit of yeasts, a bit of tartness, a bit of fruits. Rather aggressive carbobation, but still sorta smooth. Not the best of Bavarian Weizen (and also not as refreshing as it could be), but drinkable.

50cl blik. Oranje gloed. Witte schuimkraag. Eerste smaakimpressie : weinig koolzuur, licht banaan smaak.

0.5L can. Pours golden with a fluffy white head. Fairly mild aromas, mostly clove, some banana and cereal malt. Flavor profile is also fairly mild. Citrus, mild sweetness, and some yeast, though not nearly as much as other Weiss beers. Light body with a thin mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, just ok. Non-offensive, but many better weiss beers out there.

50 cl can in Hong Kong, around 170 HK$. Dark orange color, densely cloudy, big offwhite head, weizen smell. Quite classic hefeweizen aroma, banana, clove, bread, spices. Good enough but not outstanding.

From 0.5l can. BBD: 04/15 Pours deep hazy straw-amber liquid, medium white frothy head, disappeared quickly. Aroma: banana, clove, bread. Taste: medium sweet, light bitter, light sour, banana, malty, dusty, bit watery aftertaste. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, average to soft carbonation, long wheat dusty watery finish. Overall: drinkable weissbier, but could be better.

Bottle - Hazy light amber with a very big slightly off white frothy head which gradually declines in size to nothing. Aroma of cloves, some grass. Taste is spicy, banana, slight sourness, hay, medium sweet. Light body, strong carbonation.

0,5 l bottle. A dark orange, neraly redish in the glass, relative small white head. Starts very smooth, banana, chewing gum, light citrus fruity, low yeast taste. Later a little bit more fruits. Not the expected Weissbier-herb. Not more than average.

50cl bottle, local REWE. Pours and tastes like a standard Weisse, definitely culminates in its fresh apple, peach and banana aroma which it doesn’t deliver in staler taste. Dry cardboard, near-aspartame palate with a quick finish.
