3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 500ml can poured in a weizen glass.
A: Pours the traditional Hefeweizen cloudy golden to orange color. Nice medium creamy white head. Good retention and some lacings left
S: Very fruity. Sweet banana/cloves smell is the first impression. Also malts. Quite bready
T: Follows the nose. Once again, traditional Hefeweizen: Fruity taste followed by malts and yeasts. Liquid bread
M: Creamy body. Medium carbonation. Refreshing. Low bitterness (as expected)
O: Nice beer. To be enjoyed mainly during European summertime

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy orange color with a short-lasting head. A bit of banana in the aroma, and something else which is fresh-sweet, but I can?t quite decide what it is. Taste is rather one-dimensional, standard for a Hefeweizen: a bit of yeasts, a bit of tartness, a bit of fruits. Rather aggressive carbobation, but still sorta smooth. Not the best of Bavarian Weizen (and also not as refreshing as it could be), but drinkable.
