Big disappointment. Fizzy and light, like Becks, although not as weak.

The bottle I tried had an aroma and flavour like sarspirella. I don’t know if this is a desirable feature in a beer but I didn’t like it, that or the bitter aftertaste.

A good lager as far as lagers go. I prefer it to most I have had. Heineken and the like anyway.

A weaker version (4,75%) is sold in Norway. I don’t like this stuff. Bitter and unpleasant aftertaste.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2005 Bottled, from Rhythm & Booze in Brigg. Gold, good fluffy white head and gentle condition. Low chalky grain in the nose with some trace fruity hop. Quite fruity and slightly milky in the mouth with a slight chalky bitterness developing. Soft and grainy finish.

Who still drinks this stuff? ’Here’s to good friends, tonight is kind of special’ So is this beer. It’s not fantastic, but not downright awfull either. I’m surprised that they still make it. I know few bars that carry it. Occasionallly a favorite on Poker night when the older guys are going to show up, but that’s about it. If you’ve never had it, it wouldn’t hurt you to try, but nothing great will happen.
