Sampled in Berlin. An average german hell. Pours light with big head but very minimal taste. Spices are weak. Aftertaste is fair.

Skuny all the way through. Bold skunky aroma when I popped the top on this bottle. It poured a light clean crisp yellow color with a light present head. After you let the aroma disipate the flavor is more like a skunky holland beer blended with an original whit beer. It is a refresing hoppy feel without that bitter aftertaste.

Can. Yellow body with medium white head. Malty aroma with some hops and citrus. Flavour is medium malty typical german lagers like with some hops and a bitter flowery finish. Medium bodied.

My dad drak this when I was a little kid, thus it was the first beer I ever snuck a drink of when nobody was paying attention. It tastes quite a bit better now than it did then! Golden pour with a thick white cap of soapy bubbles. Smells of grains, light lemon and some malt. Taste is a crisper version of your typical lager, with a refreshing light citrus kick. Not a terrible beer.

Can. Straw yellow with a thin white head. Skunky aroma of grain, wet cardboard and metallic notes. The flavour is grain, grassy hops and tin. Not good from the can and I’d say a fair amount of heat exposure may of ruined it’s chances. Thin bodied with low bitterness. A forgettable beer.

Lowenbrau is always a good choice and I often forget about how good it is as well as forgetting to buy it, but now I’ve been reminded. Waaaaar Waaaar Waaaaar Waaaaar is my shepherd! aha! Good ’ole Exodus. Poured out a large bubbly white cap that dissipated to a ring that will leave some spotty lacing if swirled properly - standard gold brew. There is no lack of aroma. Comes across quite sweet, some malts, lemon and grassy. With that said, the aroma is quite clean and appealing. Taste is also quite good with the flavourful malts and hops. Flavour is pretty much that - two dimensional, but that doesn’t matter as when it just plain old tastes good. Very creamy mouthfeel (great swish), the perfect ammount of fine carbonation, nearing meduim bodied somehow and leaves either a soft malty finish or underlying shortlived bitterness, depending on the sip. Damn fine beer that seems to get the ’average’ or ’boring’ label. Let this sucker warm up to really enjoy all that it has to offer. Perfect beer to drink at 1:30 AM on a weekday....
