Average beer. I agree - not a lot going on here. I’ve only had it twice: once in Germany, because I wanted a beer so I stopped at a convenience store and this was cheap, and again in the US a little while back. Not great either time. Slight malty taste, but really nothing special.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2008 Creamy and oily mouthfeel, higher alcohol content than other german lagers. Not hoppy enough for me but very drinkable nevertheless.

Single bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville. Pours a gold color with a bit of white head. Aroma is all malt and a touch of barley. Taste is again all malt with a slight aftertaste on the finish. Nothing too special here.

Yellow pour that reminds me somewhat of a american pale lager. Sorta fruity taste....not my favorite german beer.

0.5l can. Pours a clear golden yellow with little carbonation and no head. Aroma is nothing special and is not very strong. Palette is smooth. Flavour is of fruit and hops, with subtle notes of sourness and bitterness.
