Light golden with a huge, nice head. The aroma has notes of malt an hops and the flavour has a light sweetness, slightly perfumed floral notes, light citrus bitterness, that ends kind of dry in the finish. Refreshing but ordinary. 2501

All told, this is a pretty bad beer. Badly skunked, slight sulfury aroma indicative of proper lagering, soapy after taste.

The german version of this beer is a decent beer as opposed to the american version

Blah...not that I was expecting much. The nasty cabbage skunk aroma of this was so strong I smelled it as soon as I popped the lid off. Brown bottles, Germany, brown bottles. Pour was a flat pee gold with no head. Taste was like an Pale lager with some sourness to it. Not sure that’s supposed to be there. A little light malt as well, but pretty bad.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden, semi-yellow color. Typical lager smell, a bit more floral and yeasty. A very light, smooth beer that goes down extremely easily. Tastes like a cleaner version of an American lager. Definitely a middle-of-the-road beer.

typical german-for the parties. The yeast dominate the flavour and after some malt and a light carbonation. You can drink a lot of Löwenbrau, because it have not any big character

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a whispy white head. Spicy peppery Euro-hop smell. Light bodied with a watery mouthfeel. Taste is slightly sweet, but mostly grainy yeasty, nothing spectacular. Nice Leopard spot lacing on the glass. I liked Millers version of this brew better.sept 2004
