Strong spice aroma accompanied with a medium white head and a golden yellow appearance. Nice cheap European beer for a summer day.

Bottle. Straw colour, thin white bubbly head. Nose is slightly sour and hoppy, some malt, dusty sweetness. Body is light, hoppy bitterness, some grassy tones, then onto a touch of lemon. Finishes malty and flimsy. Bit boring.

Smells a little bit sour, buttery. The body is a pale yellow, the head is white and disappears very fast. The flavor is also a little bit sour, the duration is medium long. A light to medium body with a lively carbonation. Maybe something for a hot sommer day...

nothing special here, tastes like a generic german beer, drinkable but nothing great.

Very ligh pale color with a minimal head. It has theat German style light crisp citic aroma and flavor. The palate is OK and the finish runs a bit lite.

2006-06-18. Light golden, medium white head which lowers pretty, tiny lace. Fruity, bit sweet and estery, corn-malty and pretty mild aroma. Pretty light bodied. Fruity, citrus, slightly hopped, bit estery and metallic flavor. Medium-length and bit metallic finish. Corn-malty and metallic bulk lager.

Smelled of beans. Golden pour with a foamy head. The hop flavor was nice, but overpowered by corn and hay. The hay remains afterward. In my limited experience, this nasty hay flavor seems to be charcteristic of Helles. I don’t mind it in small amounts, but when it is this in your face, it is not for me. I call it "cud beer".

500ml can. Pale golden in appearence with a medium head that deminishes soon after the pour. Malts, grass and some hops in the aroma. Sweet taste with notes of grass, bread, malt and some hops. medium body, low carbonation. so-so
