3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 8/20
Oddly enough, the aroma was striking to me. It smelt as if it would compliment sushi well (I had just had some good sushi). The appearance is a lightly dense golden, summery. Allow me to summerise. The flavour was like not-too-much-going-on, the palate somewhat not-happening, though it had more substance to it than your average American standard brew. In conclusion, mir gefaellt dieses Loewenbraeu. Ich wuerde es irgendwann gerne auch mal probieren. Ich freue mich, mein Bier zu trinken...

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Limpid golden body topped with a dense and foamy white head. Average malty aroma that bears some skunky hints due to the green bottle. Taste is hoppy, refreshing and not overcarbonated. Honest bitter palate. Not bad at all. A step above Becks.

Can - Proof that Germans can make lousy beer. Skunky, metallic, a trace of hops and too carbonated to chug. Maybe I bought a bad can, but there’s no way I’m risking $2 on another one.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale golden, coarsely carbonated, with a loose white head. Floral hoppy aroma with sweet malt undertones. Activeon the tongue, exceptionally well balanced, dry finish.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
average. light wheat color; mildly sweet with a more bitter finish; probably better than American macrobrews, but not much.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Solid rheingotterdammerungersbot (er, however you spell that) German lager. Definitely better than the old American stuff that they tried to pass off as Lowenbrau, but which was cheap and I came to love in college. Bready, bitter, clean. Good whack of Hallertau hops. Not better than Paulaner or Hacker-Pschorr but probably better than Beck's, St. Pauli, Bischoff. Gets dinged in appearance for green bottle and screw-off to here in the US.

smells like german lager with a hint of lemon.. tastes like bread, metal, lemon, and grains with a stale hop bitterness at the very end showing more metallic notes...
