UPDATED: NOV 27, 2013 Can. Pours a golden body, with an average white head that diminishes pretty quickly, leaving a fair lace. Malty aroma as soon as I open the can, absolutely no hops in taste, creating a very malty-based body, with notes of skunk and sweat, that becomes unbearable after a few sips. High carbonation level, thin bodied, watery texture. Definately noot good.

Old Rating : Can. Pours a golden body, with an average white head that diminishes very quickly, leaving a fair lace. Mostly bready ,malty aroma, with notes of skunk. Medium bitter taste, heavy bitter finish. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, watery-oily texture. Not anything special, not anything very wrong. Drinkable, I guess.

Botella. Rubia muy clara. Poca espuma. Aroma cereal y no mucho más. En boca persiste ese sabor cereal siendo refrescante y en su punto correcto de gas. Cerveza bebible sin grandes pretensiones.

Keg at Poundpub, Leek. A clear golden colour with a fizzy head. Aroma of grain, bread, some mineral, slight vegetable and subtle cream. Taste of grain, bread, some caramel, subtle cream and slight grassy hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A crisp, bready finish with slight grassy bitterness. Quite a sweet, malty and smooth helles. Nothing special but pleasant.

Dorata limpida, schiuma bianca non molto persistente. Abbastanza equilibrata, malto d'orzo, leggerissimo amaro erbaceo.

Ulcice 13/8 2015. 50 cl bottle from local market (Voli). Pours clear pale yellow with small white head which quickly subsides. Looks like a urine sample after this. Aroma is sweet with some sour notes. Medium carbonation. Flavour is quite bland. A little sweetness from the malts, some saltiness and a quite subdued bitterness. Not offensive - but immensely boring.

Bottle - clear pale golden, thin looking - small white head dissipates quickly. Low carbonation. Faint aroma and no great taste. Slight ting on tongue and in mouth. Not convinced.

Drunk this one a couple of years ago in Portugal. I used to drink macro portuguese lagers which are really shitty so this one was really good in comparison. Now I would say that this one is just average after trying dozens of Helles. Drinkable Helles.
