I like it. Can’t say why exactly but it has an appealing aroma, crisp clear beer. Just liked it.

An underated and really good beer. I especially like the motley crue story about how this helped with their name. Good beer.

Been a fan of this for years , but availabilty not good in this part of the country. Reading the previous reviews, I’m out on a limb with this one, but this looks fab, pale gold with an attractive frothy, long lasting head. Fantastic mix of malt & hops on the nose, bursting with flavour, very well balanced. Go on treat yourself, a classy brew... in my opinion, and I’m entitled to it, thank you! Available at Safeway/Morrisons.. which is more than can be said for the sadly missed Goose Island IPA.

A classic. Good to be able to get it again from Munich. This is a sample from AB distributor. Beery aroma, very clear pale yellow lager. Sweet at first, then bitter. nice. pours with a nice head that fades to light cover, no lace.

Haven’t had this one for years, smooth and tastes like an actual beer... but probably an acquired taste, but I like it! Cheers!

One word: crisp This is a great introduction to German beers. Its by far not the wort mut once you get into the German micro-brewery market it can only get better. This doesn’t taste like it has much hops but I’ve always detected a bit of citrus in this beer...

Pretty good beer. Doesn’t have too much of a bite, but is always enjoyable.

Unlike the picture here, my Lowenbrau came in green bottles (boo!). Fortunately, my sixer was fresh so no problems with skunk. Glowing golden color. Large but mostly diminishing head leaves fine lines of lace. Aroma of bready malts and slightly citrusy hops. Crisp front. Slightly sweet middle--mostly malt, a hint of lemon spiciness. Gently bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Brisk carbonation. A clean, refreshing helles. Very underated, in my opintion.

I haven’t had this since I was a, uh, well, let’s say a while. Pours pale yellow in color, crystal clear with a clean white head. The aroma kicks out with light floral hops, malt and some light skunk aroma. Flavor is smooth breadlike malty, lightly hoppy, with a crisp minerally finish. Light and easily drinkable. This a good quality, well made beer (unlike years ago).
