Aroma: Skunk alert! Goddamn green bottle. A bit of bready malt, otherwise this is musty, uninteresting, and bland. Appearance: Very pale, clear, dingy, brassy yellow; almost the color of egg whites. White head is very fizzy but with adequate retention. Flavor: Very bland. Corn, a bit of grassy hop bitterness and old hop cheesiness. Clean and crisp, like mineral water. Overall, a stereotypically lousy beer worthy of much lampooning. Palate: Actually somewhat chewy, while at the same time effervescent. Not bad. Overall: (Yawn!) If you’re looking for a bland, relatively unobtrusive beer, there are better and cheaper options out there.

I actually thought this was a German beer until I turned 13. Of course, they do have a Lowenbrau tent at Oktoberfest, but I was too drunk to put two and two together.

Can, pours pale yellow. Flavour of rice, stale malts, bread - quite terrible overall. Will not try again.

This is one sick beer. Tastes like perfume... can’t get that nasty perfume aftertaste out of your mouth when you drink one. I cannot drink this without making that bitter beer face. Now, I assume this one has a different looking bottle than the one pictured up there, i assume its that green bottle with the light blue turqouise label?

From can. Slight aroma of hops in the aroma but mostly skunk. Pale yellow appearance with a thin lace. Earthy flavour, little chestnut malt. Gets better than the initial taste but still no that great at all.

Smelled of beans. Golden pour with a foamy head. The hop flavor was nice, but overpowered by corn and hay. The hay remains afterward. In my limited experience, this nasty hay flavor seems to be charcteristic of Helles. I don’t mind it in small amounts, but when it is this in your face, it is not for me. I call it "cud beer".

There was absolutely no aroma. Clear with a slight yellow tint. Nice head, which earns it an extra point. Flavor is slightly wheaty piss and water. Easy to drink, but who would want to? Overall Impression: 2 of 20 for the head and lacing and. Overall, a crap beer.
