Pale lager with a light head. The aroma is light and quite sweet and the flavour is strong, quite syrupy, sweet and has a dry finish. Overall an OK beer but quite syrupy.

Ernest (6221) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 6, 2005
Germany, Nov 2003. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), moderately hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter, slightly husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Bit grainy, but balanced ok.

Pale gold with no head to speak of. Aromas are sweet grain with sweetcorn tin juice and some spice. Flavours are said sweetcorn tin juice again with sweet grain and citrus notes. Fairly dry on the finish. As expected.

Geiserich (3387) - Linz, AUSTRIA - FEB 13, 2005
Canned:
Aroma is flowerly hoppy. Golden color, quickly diminishing head. Spicy taste, malty, aromatic hoppy. Dry astringent medium bitter aftertaste. Quite fine for a canned beer.

shrubber85 (7606) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2004
Bottle. Primarily hops aroma with mild malt - initially a bit skunky. Light yellow color with small. collapsing head. Flowery hops flavor up front with sweet corn and slight orange flavor finish - a bit strange but not entirely unpleasant. Definitely better than the Miller version that I can only vaguely remember but was not very good.

Cologne and a bit of urine in the aroma. Malty cologne flavor with a bit of citrus. Not good.

Cobra (1100) - Banned City, - SEP 30, 2004
I can remember when this was being brewed in the USA by Miller, but I’m glad to see it’s back overseas, where it began. Anyway, it poured out a golden yellow color, with a slight haziness to it. Had a decent enough head on it, but didn’t last too long. Slightly bitter taste to it, with a metallic finish to it as well. It did taste of malts, and a slight fresh hay quality to it also. Had bitterness aplenty. Finished kind of thin, however. A better pilsener than most on the market.

Aldrighetti (163) - Coltura, ITALY - JUN 16, 2004
Bottle. Straw yellow, large white head, slowly to disappears. Fresh aroma, hoppy, weak persistence. Hay aroma on an honey-malty backbone. Weak honey sweetness followed by a moderate herbal bitterness. Hoppy-herbal aftertaste, nearly balsamic, of bitter herbs, gentian. Dry palate, oily to watery texture, medium body. It is best on tap.
