Appearance: Pours bright and very pale golden, practically yellowish, moderate body saturation and almost perfectly clear texture, head is initially medium, foamy to frothy, greyish white in colour, quite bubbly, giving nice lacing.
Aroma: Very pure aroma of Classic German Pilsener, strong notes of graphite, chalk, lemon, lime, spices, white and green pepper, slightly herbal but still more spicy, thin grainy-malty background dominated by hoppy top, light gravity beer, notes of whipped cream.
Flavour: Very fine herbal-spicy hoppy top followed almost imediately by a sharp bitter hoppyness displayed at the back of the tongue together with notes of graphite, flour, very explicitly pronounced barley grains, lemon, lime, notes of rust, metalic, iron, highly bitter, highly mineral, finish duration is long with dominating notes of grapefruit seeds and green pepper. Really good Classic German Pilsener.
Palate: Body is light to medium, texture is definitely strongly dry, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is highly astringent and sharp hoppy with domination of dry notes of chalk, barley grains, pepper, graphite, very clean and classic for its style.

Tap at Lowenbrau am Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin. Pours crystal clear, yellow-gold, effervescent with a moderate, white foam head. Presented in the champagne-style thin glass, it looks quite lovely. Metallic, fine bread and hay in the nose. Alright flavor, crisp bread, metal, dry straw bitterness. Light to medium in body with medium to high carbonation. Crisp, semi-dry finish, lightly toasted straw, fine bread. Not overly sweet, which is nice. Simple lager. Not bad at all.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2012 On tap in Munchen. Golden colour with a white head. A fine standard lager beer, nice and easy drinkable. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma and flavour.

Draught. Low fluffy white and quickly disappearing head. Clear yellow golden body. Weak mild malty aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste. What a bore.

It is a nice easy to drink pils. The hops could be a little more persistent, but it is a pleasant drink.

Hungary 2010, can. Clear gold straw with thick head and lacing. Floral hops dominate the aroma, very floral taste with some sweet.

On tap, bottled. Golden color with a white head. Aroma, malty, grain. Taste, malt, grain, hop. Good beer.

Draught. Clear golden with a fluffy head. Slight metallic hops aroma. Dry flavour with a light bitter aftertaste. Refreshing

Clear, copper coloring with very little head, this beer was not very enjoyable. Too much yeast and grain flavor. Tastes similar to Amstel Light, with a little more bite. No one can accuse this beer of being bland, but its taste sure leaves a lot to be desired.
