UPDATED: AUG 26, 2005 (Can 50 cl) Comes as "Lowenbräu Panaché". Very pale golden, close to crystal clear. Light citrusy aroma. Thin-bodied and sweetish - absolutely no beer-character whatsoever. 270705

Sandra took a liking to Radlers this trip, so I get to taste a few that normally would escape me, as they are not a style favored by me. Very pale yellow gold, with a very sugary sweet aroma of lemon soda and grains. A little stinky too. Watery sweet palate, lemon soda-ish with grainy undertones. Nope, DEFINITELY not my thing!

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Not much of smell, standard appearance. Th flavor is lacking, it isn’t horrible but it isn’t great.

Eine witzige Idee auf dem Etikett ist die Verkettung von Löwenbräu und Radler, so ist dort ein radelnder Löwe abgebildet. Das Bier sieht für ein Radler ordeltich aus, riecht allerdings nicht sehr intensiv. Das Radler schmeckt im ersten Moment sehr süß, zum Glück nimmt diese Süße direkt ab und lässt ein milden, feinherben Geschmack im Mund, ebenso ist auch der Abgang. Es ist Bier zu schmecken, das Radler ist nicht zu süß und schmeckt nicht künstlich, SEHR gut! Test vom 6.6.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,13,13,10,11,12 - 11,65

At Löwenbräukeller in München. Poured pale yellow in colour with thin white head. Lemon, malt and forrest notes in aroma. Quite malty with moderate notes of lemon as well.

Bottle at Munich Airport. Yellow body with big white head. Nose of malts and plenty of citrus. Quite tangy. Taste also sweet with lots of citrus. Watery texture. Not my thing.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, cardboard, synthetic citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, cardboard, citrus. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100415]

Hazy pale blond color. Nasty aroma of cleaning products. Sweetish flavor, cleaning products, light herbs and light lemon; no bitterness. Very bad.

Of course Löwenbräu has to have its own radler, of course. Botella. Pale yellow colour. Lemon sweet artificial aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Cheap soda sweet bit grainy lemon flavour.

Bottle. High fluffy white head. Clear light yellow body. Very sweet malt lemon aroma and flavor with little carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste.
