Tasted back in September ’11.
Out the bottle and into a Pils glass, chilled. Quite lively on the pour, rushes up the glass with a white surge to settle with a mammoth rocky white head that lifts a good inch out the lip. Body a quickly settling, medium golden amber with a fine bead. Meaty, chunky malt nose with lots of biscuit, barn hay, grit, cereal and toasted grains. Just a little pepper in there to tickle the nostrill, but overall it is quite a sweet waft. Firm body, sweet malts instantly dominate, quite meaty and gritty with mild carbonation and a crisp finish. Lots of Crystal, seems no hops to balance it, a little earthy straw note dwells but does little. As it warms it becomes just a little cloying. Not my cup of..., beer really! 500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with stable white head. Aroma of fresh bread. Sweet malty taste with a slightly fizzy fresh citrus finish. OK.

Bottle. Light copper colour with a white head. Mild aroma has hay and cereal in it. Not so pleasant in mouth, too much carbonation. Not much after taste.

(Falsche) Das Bier ist klar filtriert, hat eine hat eine dunkle goldgelbe Farbe und eine feine weiße Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist süß mit einer kleinen malzigen Note, die fast honigartig ist. Geschmacklich ist es süßlich mit diese metartigen Kopfnote. Es ist vollmundig aber wenig rezent und kaum bitter. Die Vollmundigkeit bleibt lange, aber angenehm im Mundraum hängen. Alles in allem, ein gutes Bier zum Essen.

Világos aranysárga színe van, teste kristály tiszta és áttetsző. Habja igen termetes, hófehér, laza szerkezetű, nagy buborékokkal teli és elég hamar egy laza csipkefüggönnyé esik össze. Illata vizes lópokrócos, malátás és kissé szúrós. Erős maláta ízzel indul, amiben van egy kis meggyszerű gyümölcsösség, fanyarság de mintha a magja is benne lenne és az adná a kesernyésségét. Van még benne egy kis komló és egy kevés élesztő. Könnyű teste van és nem túl buborékos. Utóíze keserédes, kissé zöld mandulás és fanyar. Könnyen iható világos, de van benne valami érdekes mellék íz, amit nem tudok hova tenni...

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear golden and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a light malty touch . This beer smells to malt.

Bottle from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Golden color with small white head. Aroma of grain, grass. Taste, watery, grainy, malty hints. Boring beer.

Bottle from Pivonka. Not bad but nothing special. Dry hoppy taste,long palate.
