Süffig süßer und getreidiger Antrunk mit leichten Hopfennoten, die auch im weiteren Verlauf eher verborgen bleiben. Süßlich, das Malz prescht hervor, die entstehende Herbe reiht sich dahinter ein. Die Süße steigert sich im Abgang. 9/10/11/11/13/11

Bottle: Honeyish, sweet-malty and a bit caramelly nose with a grainy, dusty touch; golden coloured, lacing white head; robust sweet-bitter flavour; a touch of "oaky" hops in the lingering sweet-bitter finish. A fine, well rounded franconian brew..........

(bottle) Almost clear, golden colour with yeast-floaties and a medium-sized, eggshell-coloured foamy head. Sweet and aromatic melange of pale and caramel-malt, slightly grainy with a touch of honey and herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste with a touch of honey and caramel; moderately sweet malty, slightly bitter finish. Solid Franconian quality brew.
