1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, - SEP 24, 2001
bronze colour, no head, dry hop aroma, some astringence, herbal, unbalanced, dry and unpleasant aftertaste
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - MAR 16, 2012
Definitely not retired, though the brewer may have changed. Front label is the same, back says ’produced by BIER-C O M P A N Y, 10997 Berlin’. Green glass, bottle by 15.11.12. Nose is hoppy and sweet with a splash of grain but a little dank and predominately floral. Clear golden with a noisy white head. Only semi-sweet in the mouth, a weak but clean malt with the aftertaste of an international pale lager. Light hops, floral/perfume with blossom honey and slightly herbal. Cleanish medium body. Surprisingly genteel!
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (23023) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 24, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with loads of impurities in the brew. Head is tall, dense and quite stable. Lager like flavour with a beautifully spiced touch from the hemp. Hard to describe, but very nice. Funny how the well-behaved Swiss have this thing about hemp beers... 051102
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - SEP 18, 2002
Fresh hop nose that is perfume-like. Medium gold color. Sweet up front, licorice-like in the middle. I wouldn’t have guessed hemp without having read the label, but you can definitely taste it. Overall average - gets points for trying something different.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 YogiBeera (2436) - Hamburg, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2002
Smells like hops, flowers and gras. Yellow body with a boring litle head. Hoppy, sweet and bitter aroma - hints of hemp - leads to a watery finish.
