| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2009 A sticky sweetness is very pronounced in this beer. Taste is that of caramel raisins with a hint of chocolate. There is also a mild alcohol taste. This could be sold as a candy. Jukkabro (3008), Tampere, Finland

Pours a reddish brown with an off white head. Aroma is caramelly, dark fruity, and rum like. Flavor is very rich, sweet malt. Raisons, dates, figs, and a hint of funky yeast. There’s a pretty good alcohol presence here also. MesandSim (5818), London, Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2009 A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s pre NYE tasting. Dark amber with a thin beige film. Must caramel and faint oxidisation make it quite clear that age has not been particularly kind to this 2004 bottle. Dark fruits a plenty and a good kick from the boozy stuff give it plenty of guts. Sugary fruity finish with some late dusky chocolate. Ok but it’s clearly not what it once was.
