Bottle from Pivní galerie. Black color with orange head. Good dunkel (or schwarzbier? what’s the difference?) but inclination towards sourness. I like Herold more.

500 ml bottle, kindly shared by gunnar, as Žatec Premium Tmavé. ABV is 4.3%. Ruby colour, low off-white head. Nice aroma of caramel and butterscotch. Easy drinking. The flavour has notes of brown bread, some caramel but not too sweet. Okay, but not very exciting.

Bottled as Zatec Premium Tmave. Pours very dark brown with a big off-white creamy head. Aroma of dark caramel and rye bread. Taste is almost balanced, but a bit on the sweet side, light nutty malts, weak roasted as well, caramelly dark sweetness. Medium bodied, ends nice and dry.

(bottle, as Žatec Premium Tmavé) Clear, dark brown colour with a beige and thick foamy head. Moderately sweet, nutty and roasty malty aroma with earthy notes and liquorice. Moderately sweet and slightly roast-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly molassy roast-malty taste with liquorice and a tinge of dark chocolate; sweet and roasty bitter finish with notes of chocolate and traces of metal in the aftertaste. Anyway a good one. 30.X.10

Csapolva a "3. Cseh Sörfesztivál"-on. Színe sötétbarna, finom pórusú habja bézs színű. Illata élesztős, karamellás. Íze ugyanaz, aromája pörkölt és karamell malátás, befejezése a legjobb, mely kávés/étcsokoládésan kesernyés. Összességében, nem rossz.

Bottled (500ml). -at Pivovarsky Klub, Praha as Žatec Premium Tmave.
Clear amber coloured, small beige head, sugary fruity nose. Light roasted malt, caramel and dark fruits taste with touch of coffee. Strong carbonation but pleasant beer.
