2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Svesse (4399) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - FEB 20, 2010
(Draught at Crown Rivers JDW, London Heathrow Terminal 2, 19 Apr 2009) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of hay and bread. Malty, grassy taste with hay and grassy hops. Thin body, fairly dry. Low bitterness. More of a standard pale Euro lager than a Bohemian pilsener to be honest. Boring stuff.

Draught at the Montagu Pyke (JDW), Charing Cross, 3 August 2009. May be a Wetherspoons exclusive as it doesn’t seem to fit with any of the other beers under the Lucan name. Cold, slightly grainy lager. Fairly dry. Straightforward. OK but not too interesting.
