Reddish-chestnut colour. Lightly caramellly aroma. Burnt sugar and caramel character. Fairly simple, straightforward bock.

Bottle. Chestnut brown with a thin off white head. Roasted notes in he aroma with a sweet background. Slightly dry to start with but quickly replaced by syrupy sweet jam. Bitter notes to the finish

500ml bottle picked up at Galeria Kaufhof am Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Deep, nutbrown body. Quickly diminishing, off-white head. Modest aroma of toasted malts with notes of heat from the alcohol. Jam-like taste with plenty of dried fruits supported sweet malts. Integrated alcohol. Soft carbonated. Quite easy to drink (hotel room, Berlin 21.11.2009).

Deep dark amber colored, little light brown head. Plummy aroma with sweet caramelly chocolate, also some licorice and syrup here. Medium bodied. Flavor is drier in start with plums still dominating, aftertaste dries with some biting lemony hops and mild alcohol.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, medium beige head. Aroma is raisins, sweet malts, some mild alcohol as well. Flavour is very sweet malty along with some mild toasted notes. Some alcohol is also showing.

Clear deep amber with a medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Flavour was very sweet with roasted malt and caramel notes. Quite full and it finished sweet with warming alcohol.

flavor is caramelly, almost toffee, slight acid, fruity or sour, okay but a little too toffee i’sh to hit my favourite taste.

Bottle. Tack Fredrik! Pours an amber color with a pretty nice head. Aroma is malty, slight fruity and even a bit vinous with some light alcohol and even metallic notes. Flavour is malty, quite sweet with dried fruits and caramel. A bit boring with some alcohol notes which I hoped would be better hidden, but it’s an OK beer.
