COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Farmer’s Daughter is a blonde ale with a malty and fruity aroma. The addition of coriander and grains of paradise also lends mild spicy aromatic qualities. This beer is very refreshing and has a light malt character with minimal hop flavor. This is very easy drinking, approachable, thirst quenching ale.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates gradually. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, fruit and spice. Light body with flavors of sweet fruit, spices and toasted malt. The finish is sweet with a mildly spiced aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Not sure what all the low ratings are about. Nice golden pour with a solid white head. Aroma was fruitier than expected - mostly apricots and honey. Flavor is similar. I don’t get too much from the added spices, but the same fruitiness from the aroma comes through nicely. My one complaint is that the finish is a little messy, but otherwise good beer, and very sessionable.

Draught at Valley Tap House. Gold pour with thin head. Mown hay, earthy. Flavour is muted earthy, light fruitiness. Overall very bland. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I guess it’s ok. Poured at a good temperature with aggression for a small, off-white head that soon settled to none and no lace. Color is a clear yellow and some small bubble trails. Aroma is a very mild beery, hint of fruit and malt. Flavor’s like nose, a bit more malty and fruity along with some carbonic tang and a tad bitter. I don’t notice any spice. Body is good while carbonation a little flat. Finish is like flavor. Fairly forgettable and of average length although there’s strangely a little booziness.

Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is sweet, yeasty, banana, just a hint of hops. Taste is gone before you have a chance to figure it out. Palate is pretty thin and watery. Very bland and boring.

Can. Pours gold with a little head. Aroma is spices and the flavor is not very good.

It’s ok, not too fantastic but a smooth brew that I liked with my Asian dish I made at home. It was not too spicy, and the blonde ale aspect of it was mostly apparent in how unremarkable the flavor was.

Pretty standard brew here. The spices really seem to dominate everything about it.

6 pack of 16 oz cans for $9.49. Somewhat hazy golden ale. Thick mouthfeel indicates the use of a high percentage of caramel malts. Hops are restrained. "Blond ale brewed with spices"? Not really getting any spice notes here. Drinkable enough, but not something to seek out. Not sure why they put their "crossover" beer (to introduce the macro beer drinker to micro beer) in a can first. If they have caught the Surly bug, then why not package the Shining Dawn first? Pretty good beer at a decent price, but I am not sure how much of it they will sell after the initial introductory boom is over.

Can as an extra. Aroma and flavor were slightly spiced blonde ale. Not too much else, except a very slight bitterness. Carb was good. Refreshing, lawnmower beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
