2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I guess itís ok. Poured at a good temperature with aggression for a small, off-white head that soon settled to none and no lace. Color is a clear yellow and some small bubble trails. Aroma is a very mild beery, hint of fruit and malt. Flavorís like nose, a bit more malty and fruity along with some carbonic tang and a tad bitter. I donít notice any spice. Body is good while carbonation a little flat. Finish is like flavor. Fairly forgettable and of average length although thereís strangely a little booziness.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours hazy yellow. Aroma is sweet, yeasty, banana, just a hint of hops. Taste is gone before you have a chance to figure it out. Palate is pretty thin and watery. Very bland and boring.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Itís ok, not too fantastic but a smooth brew that I liked with my Asian dish I made at home. It was not too spicy, and the blonde ale aspect of it was mostly apparent in how unremarkable the flavor was.

Pretty standard brew here. The spices really seem to dominate everything about it.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
6 pack of 16 oz cans for $9.49. Somewhat hazy golden ale. Thick mouthfeel indicates the use of a high percentage of caramel malts. Hops are restrained. "Blond ale brewed with spices"? Not really getting any spice notes here. Drinkable enough, but not something to seek out. Not sure why they put their "crossover" beer (to introduce the macro beer drinker to micro beer) in a can first. If they have caught the Surly bug, then why not package the Shining Dawn first? Pretty good beer at a decent price, but I am not sure how much of it they will sell after the initial introductory boom is over.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can as an extra. Aroma and flavor were slightly spiced blonde ale. Not too much else, except a very slight bitterness. Carb was good. Refreshing, lawnmower beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can via kbutler1, thanks Kevin! Pours a hazy straw yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is funky, cheese and some barnyard with a bit of banana mixed in. Taste is subdued with a bit of hef wheat and a mild belgian kick at the end. Overall, enjoyable and easy drinking which is rad for a beer that could be consumed from a can while camping. (Probably got bumped up a % point based on being from a can.)

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
16oz can. Rating #9. Clear golden color with a nice little white head. Grainy, slightly sweet, a little honey maybe. Light sweetness, still picking up a little honey and a light spice, very clean and tasty. (2453)

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice, easygoing ale, no frills, but pretty and quite drinkable. The malts give a slight graininess, and the finish is mellow and mildly spicy. Boring? Yes. Good? Also yes.
