COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Shining Dawn is a unique Belgian style golden ale fermented with a special Belgian Yeast Strain. Expect a slightly earthy, spicy aroma. Shining Dawn’s flavor is crisp and clean but with very pronounced yeast characteristics. THis is a very complex yet refreshing offering that finished a little dry. encouraging the next taste.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, lemons and spices. The flavor spices, citrus/lemons and an earthy/slightly dirty finish.

750ml corked bottle. Hazy unfiltered pale yellow-tan. Foamy white head laces the glass. Very tasty. Easy medium body. Dry spicy noble hops, grassy and resinous. Zesty flowery freshness, smooth clean golden malt with a pleasant balancing light yeastiness, and a orange-lemon rind twang. All about the balance. Great beer.

Golden pour with a white head. Really pronounced spice aroma of coriander and white pepper. Pale malt sweetness, cracker, and some citrus peel. The flavor is a little bit too bitter for my liking. Pepper spiciness, some bread, cracker, and citrus. A touch of grass, yeast, and a touch of banana.

5/13/13. 750mL from CLevar! WHAT A FUCKEN CHAMP! Hazy golden orange pour with a small khaki head that cuts in half, fades fast, but laces well. Doughy pale malts, some candi sugar, etc. on the aroma. Dry malty flavor, plenty of pale malts, doughiness, some sweetness and sugar, but mostly dry bitterness. High carbonation. Not bad!

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2011 Not much aroma wise, little hop presence overall. Classic Belgian spicyness. This one is not for me.

On tap at the Eau Claire Firehouse. Straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that slowly fades into the æther. Aroma is spicy with clove, fruit, yeast and light banana. Taste is spice as well with more of the same with a touch of hops on the back end.

Tap at Minneapolis Beer Fest. Yellowish pour with a white head. Nice yeast, wheat, and clove elements, with a touch of banana. Pretty nice brew.
