2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Bottle.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear medium amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers, apricot), lightly yeasty (dough), with a note of pineapple juice.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively/soft carbonation.
Honestly, it kind of comes off like an American brewer trying to emulate a German lager. Weird fruit notes and crude malt character. Below average.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 deigote (28) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 6, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Dark amber, almost red, with a mostly dissapearing head. The aroma is malty caramel with a smoked touch, letting you know that your are going to drink something refreshing. Is indeed refreshing, with again caramel, toffee maltiness, quite simple and straight-forward, but still rounded. Pleasant :).

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Sehr geschmacksintensiv. Gefällt mir!
