COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucid AIR is the lightest beer produced by Lucid Brewing. A blend of the palest malted barley and wheat combined with a mix of American hops give this beer a sweet citrus aroma with hints of key-limes. The smooth light body is effervescent and finishes clean and crisp. Filtered to perfection, this beer is great for the boat, sitting around the campfire, and everyday enjoyment.

This beer is a good example of why I donít get this site sometimes - Why the bias against lighter beers? This is really good beer. Ignore the low ratings on this one. Many people donít seem to understand that light doesnít necessarily mean a beer is not complex and pleasing. Lucid Air is one of my favorite local Twin Cities offerings. Crisp fresh aroma, nice clean grainy palette with a slightly bitter citrus finish. It has more bite than what you would expect from a lower alcohol beer. Listen I like uber hopped beer as much as the next guy, but I like a little variety too. Thereís always room for Lucid Air in my refrigerator.

Red brown pour. Aroma butter. Tastes wheat, mango, rustic. Better than your average blonde by a degree or two.

355ml bottle. An extremely buttery ale, jsut too much buttery biscuit for me to handle.

Slightly hazy pale yellow. Aroma of Cheerios. Taste- light but very malty flavor...tastes like liquid Malt O Meal. Just a hint of piney hops to lend a little balance. Pleasantly surprised by this one. Not a big fan of the style but I could drink this now and again. Good summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Iím still working on liking beer in general, and this was very smooth, not a super strong beer taste. After a few drinks already, this would be pretty tolerable.

Draft at the brewery. A bit of a kolsch thing going on here. Golden malt. Clean all the way, if perhaps a bit corny. Good body, drinkable. Every day beer. (#5661, 8/28/2014)

Bottle. Pours a hazy, yellow color with a frothy white head. Malty aroma with a hint of citrus. Lemony flavor. Light sense of malt. Nothing that stands out but not too bad.

12 oz. bottle, consumed on 6-22-14. Juicy aroma features scents of apple juice, white grape juice, white wine, and some armpit/dust dryness. Not much to the aroma. Pours a clear, very pale brass with a small amount of light beige head. Light to moderate effervescence. Produces okay lacing. Boring appearance. Dry, tart flavor is also a touch beery. Green apple, biscuit, and a touch of caramel in the taste. Not a bad tasting beer, but thereís not a lot to it. Light to medium body. Lively in the palate. Easy to drink and refreshing. Overall, Lucid Air is a boring although inoffensive beer. It serves competently as a light refresher but nothing more.
