COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of Imperial India Pale Ale is as drinkable as beers with half its alcohol prowess. Be careful because at 9% alcohol, this beer will sneak up on you fast! CAMMO use a combination of the citrus, floral, and pine characteristic from Cascade, Amarillo, Summit, and Simcoe hops give this beer a floral hop nose and significant hop flavor. We kept this one as pale as possible and let the hops carry the weight without losing balance. This beer finishes dry and clean creating a refreshing, and very drinkable beer.

Pour on tap, Winterfest 2012. Clear orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big caramel and pine notes, hints of slight fruity grapefruit and orange in there, slightly spicy as well.. Taste was not quite as good and pretty harshly bitter, some slight pine and grass with sweet biscuit and caramel notes, again with the biter finish. No sign of alcohol though.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 3/1/2012: Had this again last night at Gold Nugget. Awesome. Itís unfortunate mattyb83 had such a negative experience, because with only 6 ratings his 1.7 rating is unfairly weighing down the mean. Especially considering from his review it sounds like the glass he had perhaps wasnít properly cleaned. I had a Deschutes Hop Henge afterwards, another beer I am a fan of, and I distinctly preferred the Camo. 2/8/2012: Tap at Gold Nugget. Sweet hop aroma. Mostly clear amber body without any visible carbonation. Some early lace. Really well balanced, strong with hops. Two lucid beers down and two winners. You have to get your hands on this beer.

A. Pours a golden blonde color, 2mm head with some light bulbes, fades quickly S. Smells of strong citrus, fragrent hops and some orange. T. Tastes of tart grapefruit, sweet hops, and bitter ornage peel. M. Medium body, thick and chewy feeling, high carbonation O. A pretty good beer. Well flavored, that seems like it would die quickly with age.

This was an ok beer, but not really anything special. Worth a try and this brewery may have some fun things to offer in the future.

Pours clear deep golden with a small white head. Floral hop aroma with some bready malt. Taste is sweet up front with floral hops again with a touch of pine. Alcohol and some other off taste really comes through in the back.

Tap at Groveland Tap in St. Paul, MN. Golden pour with a white head. Nice floral aroma, medium palate. Taste was floral and citrus hops, just a touch of pine. Tasty DIPA, the 9% ABV was pretty well hidden. Good stuff.

First! On tap at the groveland tap. Clear, golden color with a frothy whitehead. As the head recedes it leaves a film along the glass. I keep checking the aroma but Iím not getting anything. Slight caramel maybe. Taste is something I can only describe as bad. Taste is malty at first with loads of caramel, there is bitterness and pine that follow, all before a huge metallic finish. Wow that finish is rough. Overwhelming bitterness and a metallic finish are a rough combo.
