22 oz bomber purchased at Zipps in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The pour is hazed yellow golden with a one inch white head that falls with decent lacing. The aroma is floral, bread, hay, along with sweet malt. The taste is the bready hay and sweet malt, floral herbal hops behind that. The palate is light to medium bodied, low rough carbonation, and a bit of dirtiness in the finish.

Bottle: Pour is weird copperish colour fading to gold in the edges. Soapy white head. aroma is bready caramel and honey, fruity hop. Flavour is light bready, thin bodied, little herbal hop presence.

Bonus bottle from kbutler1 - thanks! Pours amber with a trim white head. Smells and tastes of lemon zest, crackers, and pale malt. Nice summer beer.

Wellestone (33) - Andover, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2012
Aroma is bready...bready? an American Pale? where are the hops? some bitterness in the initial taste with excessive maltiness in the finish. not balanced at all. very sweet. is there corn extract? I doubt it, but thats the type of sweetness I pick up. it is very smooth and somewhat refreshing, and yes, maybe very sessionable. but I for one dont want my pale ales so watery and weak. with the excessive malt, amp this up to somewhere north of 60 ibus, or cut back the malt, and we might have a new lawn mower beer. bomber on sale for $3.97 which might be $0.50 too high in its current miller lite-like incarnation

Nice Pale Ale. Great aroma. Nice light orange color. Tasted a little sharp maybe to much carb. Lingering dank, slightly spicy bitterness. I'd order it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One word. Meh. LOOKS like it should have some great flavor, and thatís where it ends. It is a very one dimensional beer in taste which consists of hops and zero malt. Itís odd, because when you look it the dark golden color, your mind tells you it will be pretty flavorful. It isnít. Will not be seeking this one out again.

Bottle. Grainy nose. Pours cloudy orange with a wispy white head/lacing. Evenly balanced, comes across almost lager-like with the low(ish) ibu. I get roasted corn on the lingering palate. Good hot weather quencher.

OscarFalls (36) - excelsior, Minnesota, USA - JUL 12, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 19, 2012 Great amber color, but the beer itself is very light and airy and lacks the taste and flavor that the color implies. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden yellow with middling head. Aroma of hops and grains. Flavor is lightly hoppy, with some licorice notes in the background. All in all, not a bad beer, but nothing to write home about, either.

portableparty (1909) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUN 27, 2012
22 oz. bottle to glass. Pours clear lighter amber color with a sudsy white head that fades to a thin film and some lacing. Aroma is malty and light with a subtle hop presents. Taste is watery malt with the hops showing and letting some bitterness through. The malt is watery caramel and the bitterness follows suit. Palate is thin to medium with a watery chalky finish. Its drinkable, but very over priced for what it is.
