(Bottled) Pale golden, agressively foamy, lacy, generates some clouds. Not much aroma here, some papery dullness. Flavor is honey-pale-malty-fruity like Duvel - maybe even slightly less acidic, with sourish-wheaty notes and lemon. Medium body, quite foamy. Has some caramely notes, not as dry as Duvel. Good, but not outstanding. 4345

11.2oz bottle / BBD: 30/07/12. Poured a almost opaque brownish straw with a thin head that stays until the end. Aroma: a strong yeast, spice, citrus, banana, fruit mix dominates, some thing almost like glue at times, notes of alcohol. Taste: yeast, fruit, spice, mild alcohol; also some water. Medium body. Finish carried out the taste but with a mild alcohol warmth. Overall a good beer - I can’t say I would buy another due to the overtones of glue.

Rating #424, bottle, gift from Mia

A very pale hazy yellow beer with a huge but airy head. Lacings when drinked. Aroma is malts, yeast, flowery hops, a bit alcohol. Nothing special and not typical belgian aroma. Flavor is peach, sourishness, banana notes, even chocolaty notes in spite of the light colour. Sugary finish with good bitterness and ends on a bit alcohol and slightly wood. Taste is really a surprise compared to the aroma and appearance. A bit thin but soft beer, edgy alcohol that dots on the tongue.

I liked this one a lot better than the last. Nice fruity aroma along with some alcohol. The pour is yellow, hazy with a big foamy head. The flavor is crisp and clean. Fruity and dry finish.
