3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at the 2010 Crescent Moon Extreme Beer Festival. Pours pale yellow and looks like a budweiser. Cotton candy aroma. Big unbalanced heat. This beer is just too hot. Has a harsh fizzy palate. The finish is softer though, and has a nice redeeming salvation of gooseberries.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear pale gold with lively carbonation and a huge head. The nose is light fruits (sour apple) flowery hops, and a light, musty, sour character like dirty gym socks... The taste leads with light malt, light fruits, flowery hops, light alcohol, light sourness; light, crisp and sweet. Refreshing, but not overly flavorful...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught into a chalice. Pours darkish golden, with decent and durable white head. Aroma of spices, fruit and hops, but rather bland on the palate, and not particularly memorable as a result.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma has a slight hint of citrus and pears. Color is a nice blonde amber with good head retention. Light bodied mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the presence of alcohol with a bitter aftertaste. Alcohol is not hidden enough. The fruityness comes late and is very subtle (grapefruit). This beer is drinkable but I doubt I would buy or drink again.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clean grain and yeasty aroma. Quite significant carbonation and head retention, appears almost exactly like the other "devilish" Belgian but a wee bit darker. Flavor is quite pleasant, if uninspiring. Solid.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pours pale straw with a dense soapy white head that sticks around for quite some time and leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is fruity and yeasty as expected. Notes of sweet grain and banana leave it smelling almost like banana bread with just a touch of green apple. Flavor shows the same and finishes slightly metallic with just a touch of warming alc. Overall pretty tasty, but at the same time, nothing too impressive.
