Bottle. Pours pale golden colour, slightly hazy. Decent two finger head. Citrus, yeast and hops in the aroma. Typical bsa. Flavour is again a bit citrussy, little sour.. nothing special. Decent beer though.

The first time I had this beer, the bartender from a Belgian beer bar brought a bottle over to a crazy house party in San Francisco I was at. He looked like the devil and the beer was fantastic.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml, corked and caged bottled poured into Tripel Karmeliet goblet. Appearance is golden yellow with 2 inch, white head that dissipates quickly and doesn’t leave behind much in the way of lacing. Smells of dried fruit, banana, and lemon with a hint of clove. Taste is fruity Belgian yeast with a hint of lemon and spice. Medium carbonation with a crisp mouth feel. Overall, this Belgian lacks complexity and depth of flavor. It’s almost a bit watered down and is certainly nothing memorable. This beer does not live up to its name.

11.2 ounce bottle. Poured very cloudy with a huge everlasting head. Aroma of banana, floral, fruity, and some sweetness from the malts. The flavor was similar with the banana bring a little more dominating. A nice Belgian ale.

On tap @ Cheeky Monk Denver. Cloudy dark gold with a generous rocky head, great lacing. Kind of a yeasty dusty aroma with some grassy hop tones. Flavor was nice and clean but with a big flavor. Nice and mild on the hops, a little dusty, lots of clean Belgian yeast, some grainy cereal malts, some slight spicy tone as if rye was there
